Mathematics is ubiquitous in the man-made and natural world. The fundamental concepts of Mathematics can be found defining everything, from the patterns of galaxies to the shapes of snowflakes. As students passionate about learning, we find that Mathematics itself is the key to discovering ideas beyond our realm of knowledge. And so, we are proud to announce the fourth edition of the Hill Spring Math Olympiad (HSMO) for students in grades 9 & 10!

 

Since its launch by our school's very own IBDP students three years ago, we at HSMO strive to stimulate eager minds by introducing them to a range of scintillating questions and offering them the chance to win an award! Geared with mathematical knowledge, students will receive the rare opportunity to combine their collaborative and problem-solving skills in this edition of HSMO. By working both individually and in teams to qualify for each successive round, participants are charged with the task of finding the simple solutions to complex problems.

 

We are delighted to announce that all profits from registration fees will be donated to charity. The funds collected will contribute to the education of the underprivileged. Help us make a difference as we share our love for Mathematics.

 

We are excited to host HSMO 2023, and look forward to an engaging, enjoyable and exhilarating competition as we journey through a world of numbers, patterns and all things beautiful.
